GPR and Radiodetection Services for Carnegie Hall

Writer's picture: AdminAdmin

AmeriscanGPR used ground penetrating radar and radiodetection technology to locate rebar and in-slab conduits in this area before core drilling work was being performed. The plumbing contractors on this site, located inside Carnegie Hall in Manhattan, were required to identify all in-slab electrical conduits before starting to core drill holes for new water and sanitary piping. Locating live in-slab electrical conduits prior to core drilling is an important preventative measure, in order to ensure the safety of the workers operating the core drill machines and avoid costly damages to repair damaged electrical lines.
